Tomorrowland Foundation takes central stage at Tomorrowland 2026

The People of Tomorrow are ambassadors for a better world. Their positive energy and love inspired Tomorrowland to start working on a commitment to make this world a better place.

Today, its Music & Arts Schools in Nepal, India, Brazil and South Africa provide artistic education in communities with limited opportunities. The Foundation also supports MobileSchool.org, which operates 75 mobile schools across more than 40 countries, as well as the LIVE, LOVE, UNITE toolkit, an interactive game inspired by Tomorrowland’s values and supported by artists including Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, NERVO and Lost Frequencies.

More than €3.8 million has been invested in Foundation projects since 2016, largely thanks to the People of Tomorrow. Festivalgoers can contribute by donating from as little as 2 Pearls, purchasing items from the Tomorrowland Foundation collection or supporting other fundraising initiatives.

In 2026, the Foundation will be more visible than ever across Tomorrowland and DreamVille. By offering new ways to discover and support its work, while bringing together partner organisations and teachers from around the world, it will show how the festival’s positive energy can create lasting impact far beyond its grounds—because every child deserves the opportunity to express their creativity and believe in a brighter future.

The Tomorrowland Foundation across the festival experience

  • A mobile donation team invited visitors to support the Foundation’s projects throughout the festival and DreamVille.
  • A Mobile School at the iconic One World Bridge showcased the educational tool used by street educators to reach vulnerable children worldwide.
  • A new Tomorrowland Foundation collection is available at the on-site Tomorrowland Store and online.

Featuring T-shirts, sweaters and other items, the collection includes designs inspired by drawings created by children from Estrela Nova, one of the Foundation’s partner organisations in São Paulo, Brazil. Part of the proceeds from every purchase will directly support the Tomorrowland Foundation and its projects.

A unique gathering of the foundation's global community at MediaVillage

On Saturday, July 18, representatives from the Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts Schools in Nepal, India and South Africa came together for the first time at the Tomorrowland Media Village.

The gathering brought together partner NGOs CUNINA in Nepal, Ek Tara in India and the organisation behind the Foundation’s recently opened school in South Africa to exchange experiences and celebrate their shared impact through music, art and education. Arnoud Raskin, founder of MobileSchool.org also attended.

Among the special guests was Ashish Bhuju, the music teacher at the Foundation’s school in Sekha, for whom the visit marked both his first Tomorrowland and his first journey outside Nepal; Kunal Chakraborty, artistic head of the Music & Arts School at the Ek Tara Learning Centre in Kolkata; and Kathleen Aerts and her husband Steven, the driving forces behind the establishment of the Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School in South Africa.

From the Kolkata DJ Academy to the Tomorrowland Line-up

DJ Roop, one of the teachers at the DJ Academy within the Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School at the Ek Tara Learning Centre in Kolkata, returned to Tomorrowland after making his festival debut in 2024.

On Saturday, July 18, he performed a two-hour set at the Old Spice Stage from 14:00 to 16:00, bringing the sounds and energy of India to the festival. His performance created a direct link between the Tomorrowland stage and the young students he teaches in Kolkata. The DJ Academy introduces children and young people to DJing and electronic music, giving them access to professional equipment, guidance and a new form of creative expression.

Vinita Saraf brings Ek Tara's story to the Love Tomorrow Summit

Vinita Saraf, co-founder of the Ek Tara Learning Centre, highlighted the impact of its partnership with the Tomorrowland Foundation during the Love Tomorrow Summit.

On Thursday 23th of July, she shared why Ek Tara was founded, how it supports underprivileged girls growing up in Kolkata’s slums and how the collaboration with the Foundation has created new opportunities for its students.

Vinita explained how the Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School has made music, dance and artistic expression an integral part of the children’s education and daily lives.

By bringing together festivalgoers, artists, teachers, social entrepreneurs and non-profit organisations, Tomorrowland 2026 demonstrated how the positive energy created on the festival grounds can continue to make a difference far beyond them. Because every child deserves the opportunity to discover their talents, express their creativity and believe in a brighter future.

About Tomorrowland Foundation

The Tomorrowland Foundation works together with independent non-profit organizations around the world that provide vulnerable children and young people with opportunities to express themselves creatively through music, dance, and the arts, while strengthening their self-confidence and personal development.

To support this mission, the Foundation has established several Music & Arts Schools in Sekha (Nepal), Kolkata (India), Itu (Brazil), and Langrug (South Africa). These schools offer children access to music and arts education, helping them discover and develop their talents. The Foundation firmly believes that creative expression plays a vital role in a child’s personal growth and contributes to building a positive self-image.

In addition, the Tomorrowland Foundation supports impactful local initiatives worldwide and develops educational tools that encourage young people to be their authentic selves (LIVE), foster respect for themselves and others (LOVE), and understand the value of collaboration and unity (UNITE).

The Tomorrowland Foundation is funded through spontaneous donations and contributions from Tomorrowland visitors, complemented by an annual contribution from WEAREONE.world, the organization behind Tomorrowland.
